Takenoko teaches children under the age of 6 motor skills, agility, coordination, and balance in Kodokan Judo. Its mission is to pave the way of life itself. Robin reached out for a logo for her kid's classes. We had worked together before we pulled together some ideas and color schemes that would still tie into Yama Gawa. Takenoko is Japanese for a bamboo shoot which, we pulled colors from the green leaves of bamboo and a black from a giant panda named Ling Ling. We designed a panda logo to charm the children's classes.
